The KONA stays a compact SUV where it matters — in traffic and in the parking space — and becomes a much bigger car the moment you are in it. The longer body and the stretched wheelbase go straight into room for people and luggage.
A boot that takes the weekly shop
The tailgate opens onto a wide, square load bay that takes a full weekly shop, a pushchair or two large suitcases without a fight. Fold the rear seats down and the floor extends into one long, flat surface for the bulky loads.
